Job description
Two key roles selling a diverse range of roofing products for a distributor offering various solutions, including liquid roofing, single ply membranes, EPDM, roof lights, roof windows, along with roof insulation from reputable suppliers. Primary focus will be on refurbishment projects, making up around 90% of your responsibilities. 1) ASM Contractors – main task is to connect with roofing contractors expanding your network beyond the existing clients 2) ASM Merchants/Buying Groups selling into merchants at branch level. Both roles will cover London, Home Counties, East Anglia. In the contractor focused role, there will be some exposure to specification work, it’s not the primary emphasis of the role.
A significant player in the flat roof systems industry for several decades. Their product range includes EPDM and liquid waterproofing systems.
My client is seeking dynamic and ambitious sales professionals to join the team. Candidates should have the ability to generate demand effectively with contractors, with the other role utilising their merchant contacts. While experience in roofing or RCI would be advantageous, it is not mandatory as my client will consider most heavyside product backgrounds. Require candidates that are go getters and not simply going through the motions. Open to considering candidates on the way up who bring energy and enthusiasm to the role.
