Barden is delighted to assist our client, a global technology company, in identifying a Financial Accountant for their team. This person will be assisting with the full finance function and reporting to the CFO and CEO, and would suit someone coming from an SME type background.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day finance operations.
• Compiling financial statements and conducting group consolidation.
• Manage operational finance including payroll, AP and AR.
• Complete VAT returns and annual company tax filings.
• Manage cashflow and conduct analysis.
• Provide updates and reports to investors.
• Collaborate with business units on financial matters.
• Ad hoc projects as required.

Requirements:

• Qualified Accounting professional;
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a comparable role handling daily financial operations.
• Self-assured and adept at engaging with senior management.
• Understanding of IFRS principles is beneficial.
• Experience of US reporting an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Word.
• Meticulous and detail-oriented.
