Overview

A vacancy has arisen for an experienced drainage engineer within the Melksham area to join our client’s drainage team.

Salary: £28,000 to £35,000 depending on experience

Applicants should be self-motivated and flexible with good social skills to deliver a high level of customer service and satisfaction. You will predominantly be site based either domestic or commercial. Ensuring where possible, that work is completed on the first visit. You must be able to confidently explain to customers what work you need to carry out and leave them with peace of mind and confidence in the company’s abilities.

The Role

The types of work that you will undertake will include, but not be limited to CCTV surveys, rodding, high pressure water jetting, pipe lining and excavation and repair. There will also be an element of paperwork with the job. All works undertaken must be carried out in accordance with the Health and Safety policy including wearing PPE and company uniform at all times.

The Person

• Have a positive can-do attitude
• Be able to work with minimal supervision, using own initiative.
• Be flexible in your working hours (including time “on call” out-of-hours)
• Hold a full driving licence (no more than 3 points)
• Have 2 years minimum experience in drainage or plumbing
• Hold a CSCS card or relevant to allow building site work
• Have Drainage Engineer Experience: 2 years (Preferred)
