Job description
This exciting role will be looking after a team of 5 Area Sales Managers selling the companies wide range of imported products. The product range is very varied and includes Wall and Ceiling Panels for Bathrooms and Wet Room use, Composite Panels, Fencing, Soffits, Vinyl Flooring, Window and Skirting Boards as well as Roof Slates. The team sell to National and Independent Merchants as well as specialist Distributors . Your core responsibility will be to set and implement sales strategy, motivate and direct the sales team and ensure targets and growth objectives are met. Within the role you will have responsibility for some of the Merchant/Distribution agreements at Category Manager level. They company have a very healthy level of turnover and have a very realistic growth target for the next 12 months. Although this is a National role you have to be located within easy access to Derbyshire.

My client needs a strong sales manager who can demonstrate success and experience managing a team that has sold through the Merchant network. This needs to be from either a manufacturing or specialist Distribution background rather than working for a Merchant. They need a leader, an individual with drive and energy who can also manage merchant accounts at head office. Location is crucial – must be within 50 – 60 miles of Derbyshire.
