Job description

Job Title: Commercial Development Advisor

Salary: up to £22,350 per annum

Hours per week: 35 (flexible options considered)

Location: At IOSH, we embrace hybrid working because we believe it's the key to achieving work-life balance, strategic success and fostering our collaborative culture. You’ll be required to work from our head office in Wigston, Leicester a minimum of 2 days per week (one of which will be a Tuesday). The remainder of your working hours will be undertaken from home.

About the role
The Commercial Development Advisor sits in the Commercial Development Administration team, which is a close-knit team that works collaboratively across the wider organisation. The Commercial Development Advisor guides customers, and colleagues through the requirements for application, approval, and licencing of training providers and trainers, and IOSH for Business set-up. You will also work closely with the sales teams for Tailored Course Approvals, and Instructional Design agreements. You will use a variety of communication tools such as email, telephone and team’s meetings, and follow policies and processes accurately and in a timely manner. In this role you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Each day brings a varied and interesting workload making a very real difference to our customers so the ideal candidate will enjoy working on multiple pieces of work at a time. In this role you will take ownership of handling customer enquiries relating to IOSH procedures, criteria and training products, and providing first class responsive administrative support. You will also be resolving issues to support exciting projects such as the introduction of digital platforms for workbooks and certification.

What you'll bring

We are seeking candidates with previous administration and customer service experience within an office-based environment, dealing with customer queries proficiently by both telephone and email.

You will be able to work independently, prioritising and managing your own workload, whilst also showing personal resilience when working in a fast-paced environment to deliver multiple pieces of work to prompt deadlines. You will have the ability to remain calm, whilst working swiftly and efficiently to resolve problems faced by customers. You will have excellent communication skills with a professional and friendly manner, and so are able to build strong relationships with all customers providing necessary support and assistance.
