A Top 100, award winning firm in the North West are looking for an Assistant Manager to join the accounts team. This accountancy firm offer a range of services to clients and are true business advisors.

This Accountancy practice is medium sized firm across the North West. The opportunity has arisen due to growth in their client base and hence, they are looking for an Accounts Assistant Manager to join their team.
Description
- Review/prepare an accounts working file and associated tax computations.
- Work within a budget agreed at the planning stage.
- You will be expected to professionally represent the firm and its interests in dealings with clients and other professionals.
- You will be expected to attend training to further develop and maintain your technical skills and if not yet attained to work towards a professional qualification.
- You will be expected to supervise and help develop more junior members of staff.
- Communicating clearly with clients on key topics affecting them as well as future legislative changes and the impact this may have on their business.
- You will be expected to contact clients in connection with non-technical issues such as the collection of debtors and be involved on an ongoing basis in administrative activities such as billing.
- You will be expected to plan and control your professional work for the firm's clients within the firm's standard procedures. You will be able to identify basic planning opportunities.
- You will be expected to identify and act upon any opportunities you see within the professional work you do to sell more services to existing prospective clients.
Profile
- Able to work on their own initiative, as part of a small team, with good communication skills.
- Have at least three years of experience in a similar position.
- Able to work to tight deadlines and possess good time management skills.
- Must be Computer literate and have a good working knowledge of excel, quickbooks, sage and xero accounting software.
Job Offer
£32,000 - £40,000
25 days holiday
Group Personal Pension: Employer contribution 3%, employee 4%.
Flexible working policy office opens at 8am and closes at 6.30pm - core hours are 10 till 4pm with minimum ½ hour lunch
WFH policy - managers can WFH normally 1 or 2 day per week
