GIORGIO ARMANI HEAD OFFICE - ALLOCATOR
We're on the lookout for a meticulous and detail-oriented Allocator to join our head office team. As an Allocator at Giorgio Armani, your role will revolve around managing the allocation of merchandise to our Outlet stores, ensuring that optimal inventory levels are maintained to support sales and fulfil customer demand. You'll play a key part in shaping our retail landscape, ensuring a seamless flow of products to our outlets while maintaining the highest standards of precision and customer satisfaction.
The Allocator position:
- Collaborate with Outlet Manager and Visual Merchandiser to range products to stores
- Allocate merchandise to Outlet stores based on sales forecasts, historical data, and current trends.
- Monitor inventory levels and sales performance to optimise stock levels and minimise stockouts and overstock situations.
- Collaborate with Planner and Outlet Manager to develop allocation strategies and assortments that align with sales goals and merchandise plans.
- Analyse sales data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations for allocation adjustments.
- Communicate regularly with store managers and regional teams to gather feedback on product performance and inventory needs.
- Manage replenishment orders and transfers between stores to balance inventory levels and maximise sales potential.
- Generate weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports, providing insights on allocation performance, inventory productivity, and sales trends.
- Assist in the development and implementation of allocation systems and processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Support inventory reconciliation efforts and investigate discrepancies as needed.
Requirements
- Strong numerical aptitude.
- Proficiency in Excel fundamentals.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability or aptitude in retail mathematics and quick grasp of technical applications.
