About this Role:
Experienced Project Manager or required to lead the construction of a large new hotel scheme in Cardiff Arena.
Reporting to the Project Director, you will be responsible for managing the project from involvement with the preconstruction stages through to start on site in in Q4 2024 and run the construction phase through to handover in 2025. You will lead your project construction team holding responsibility for input to design development, construction methodology and programme of works, and specifically the smooth and timely progress of construction on site, safety and quality control, issue resolution.
About the Company/Client/Project:
The client is the busy regional office of a national main contractor, with a turnover in excess of 100m, with secured workload in the education, commercial, leisure and high spec residential sectors across the West.
Projects range in size from 40m to 80m, secured through a mixture of national and regional frameworks, negotiated schemes with repeat clients, and competitive tenders. There is a good pipeline of future work, with 100% of turnover already secured for 2024/25.
