Our client, a local authority based in South East London is looking for a Social Worker for the Kinship team, with experience of performing tasks that will include viability assessments, private fostering assessments, special guardian assessments and connected persons assessments.

The role include:

• Assessment of prospective Kinship carers & Special Guardians
• Assessing, supporting and monitoring our Private Foster Carers
• Providing regular, professional and effective supervision to kinship carers, offering on-going assessment and supportive challenge of their practice
• Completion of kinship carers annual reviews
• Completion of viability assessments for prospective Special Guardians and Kinship carers
• Delivery of attachment based models of support framed within our systemic practice model
