Monarch Education are a leading education recruitment provider specialising in temporary staffing for Primary, Secondary and Special Educational Needs schools in Birmingham and we are looking for a recruitment consultant to join our team based in Birmingham at Monarch Education (Temple Point, 1 Temple Row).
This is a role based in our central Birmingham office, being our head office, the Birmingham location is a busy and fast paced environment full of a variety of people that can support you in your career.
We have individuals that have been with the business over a decade and some nearly two! Lots of consultants that have been with us less than 2 years have experienced quick success and they are good an example of what you can achieve in a short space of time. The office is ‘home from home’ – everyone is friendly and welcoming with plenty of social events, team building and sales days which bring everyone together.
Friday is everyone’s favourite day, dress down, beer fridge, sales meeting, and it’s great to wrap up the week by celebrating everyone’s achievements!
The Role
- Education Recruitment Consultant with a career plan from your first day
- Monday to Friday 7:30-17:30 (with 1 hour lunch) with reduced hours in school holidays either 9am – 2pm or 10am – 3pm
- Salary: £25,000.00 – £35,000.00 (depending on experience) + commission Structure

- Building a pool of new candidates, Advertising, managing a team of workers, Building relationships with existing clients and business development to forge new relationships, You will also be liaising with candidates who are seeking a change of role in a predominantly temporary recruitment environment and will be involved in building a pipeline of high quality candidates through online advertising and CV searching.

- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for education-based
- Build and nurture strong relationships with existing client schools, ensuring their staffing needs are
- Proactively engage in business development activities to establish new partnerships with schools and educational institutions.
- Identify and attract high-quality candidates for education positions through various sourcing
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships through both face-to-face and remote
- Demonstrate a high level of motivation and take ownership of your desk, treating it as your own mini
