The Role:

So, what will you be doing as a Director of Contracts ?

• Lead the development and execution of comprehensive contract strategies aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee all aspects of the contract lifecycle, from negotiation and drafting to execution and compliance.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, and program management teams, to ensure contract terms meet business needs and mitigate risks.
• Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to the contract management team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Drive contract performance monitoring and reporting, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and facilitating timely issue resolution.

What are we looking for in our next Quality Engineer ?

• Extensive experience in contract management or related roles within the defense industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex defense contracts, including negotiation, execution, and performance management.
• In–depth knowledge of defense contracting regulations, policies, and procedures (e.g., FAR, DFARS).
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Law, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
