Flame Health recruitment are currently working on behalf of an independent Opticians based in The New Forest Area, South Hampshire, to hire a full time Optometrist.
This fantastic independent Opticians based on the coast of the beautiful New Forest National Park and require someone for 4 to 5 days a week.
About the Role:
- Family run practice
- Well established in the area – over 30 years
- Working in a beautiful grade 2 listed building
- 2 Testing rooms
- Working alongside another experienced Optometrist as well as a fully qualified Dispensing Optician and support team
- Trial frames and Phoropter
- Optinet Flex computer system
- Hospital grade equipment – Top of the range OCT, DNEye Scanner
- Relaxed clinics with 30-45 minute tests
- Long term progression opportunities
Optometrist - Requirements:
- Fully qualified Optometrist registered with the GOC
- 2 + years qualified
- Contact Lens experience – including complex RGP (in house training available if required)
- Hands on – Willing to get involved outside of the test room
- Wants to help develop and grow the business
- Wants to be a part of a friendly, close knit team
- Excellent communication skills
- Patient focused
- Dynamic
