Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a family-owned manufacturing company, in their search for an experienced CNC Turnerto join their team based in Crewe.

What our Client is offering the successful CNC Turner 

1. Up to £16.10 per hour (Depending on experience)
2. 7:45am - 4:45pm Monday to Thursday, with a 12:45 finish on Friday
3. Temporary to Permanent 
4. Overtime paid up to £24.12 per hour

The Role - CNC Turner 

1. Products are machined from material types including ferrous, non-ferrous, stainless steel, plastics, and composites.
2. The Turner is required to programme and set up the machines to produce parts to the tolerances specified on customer drawings, in the most efficient manner. 
3. Completing small bespoke orders and small batches 
4. Programming the Lathe machines, both manually and using customer supplied files.
5. Setting up the Lathe machines for most efficient production of the batch size required.
6. Selection of the correct material type and grade from stores, maintaining traceability.
7. Machining first-off samples for inspection.
8. Operating several machines at the same time, if component run times permit.
9. Carrying out routine maintenance of the allocated machine(s) against a TPM schedule.

What we are looking for in a CNC Turner:

1. Previous experience working with CNC Turning/Lathes ESSENTIAL 
2. Experience of working in an engineering machining environment for a minimum of 3 years. ESSENTIAL 
3. Experience of programming and operating Lathe machines with FANUC controls
4. Experience of working on a lathe with live tooling BENEFICIAL
5. Experience of working with a variety of material types.
6. The ability to interpret engineering drawings and 3D CAD models, and determine the best approach to the component manufacture. ESSENTIAL
