Job description
Casablanca is looking for a full-time Knitwear Design Intern to join the knitwear design team for six months .
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Assist in the Knitwear RTW categories
- Working closely with Senior Knitwear designer and Knitwear Designer.
- Photoshop and Illustrator skills are mandatory (CADS, colouring sketches, updating range plans).
- Participating in Design team research/seasonal inspiration.
- Assisting with updating moodboards and collection boards.
- Assisting with new swatch development and new techniques.
- Assisting in knitwear fittings (prepping area, steaming, pinning, measuring).
- Assisting launching tech packs with factories.
- Ensuring knitwear team is fully supported and works to ensure knitwear presentations are displayed to the highest level.
- Assisting during lead up to Fashion Week (assisting in fittings, styling, show prep).

- Strong communication skills
- Skills in Photoshop and/or Illustrator
- Overall team player with a positive attitude to help with all needs of the studio
- Interest in fashion
- Right to Work in the UK
