Job description

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a famous (modern) art museum in London. The museum will be opening their doors this summer, and you will be part of the launch team. They already have very famous and successful museums in a couple of other European cities which have had massive social media traction. The person in this crucial position for the company will have worked at a main tourist attraction in London/ chain of famous restaurants; or a business where the main aim was to sell the experience or tickets. You will be generously compensated on top of your salary, with commission due to sales through marketing. The team will require you on site five days per week initially, as it is important for you to be on site, to see what works and what does not work. You will see trends from the day to day at the venue.

What you’ll do:

• Develop innovating marketing and media strategies to push brand awareness and create a buss around the museum. This will drive visitor numbers
• You will collaborate with the international marketing team and the founders of the company, who are heavily involved in decision making.
• Create and manage events, press conferences and other PR activities alongside our PR agency.
• Conduct market research to understand trends and preferences while adjusting company strategies to these where needed.
• Manage brand partnerships and build them
• Manage UK marketing budget ensuring campaigns drive a strong ROI.

Who you’ll be:

• You will be an independent individual who has a record background in marketing. You will have a degree related to this and have a fantastic knowledge of the UK market. You will have an affinity with the art world and a data driven mindset.
