Are you an experienced PE teacher that has worked with children with SEMH needs?
Axcis are pleased to be working with a SEMH school in Crewe who are looking to recruit a PE teacher. The role will be working with children aged 11 - 16 years old who are unable to attend mainstream education due to challenging behaviour as a result of SEMH needs. The role would be working across classes, providing PE lessons to different pupils on a pre planned timetable. The lessons will be planned however, you will be encouraged to bring your own ideas to the table to adapt to the children's changing needs. The role is full time, Monday - Friday with working hours 08:00-16:00, term time only. Pay rates are £140-200 depending on experience. The school is based on popular network links and provides alternative provision for local young people across Crewe. The ideal candidate must have QTS with a specialism/experience in PE. A minimum of 2 years working in SEN education is essential. You must also have a child and adult DBS registered on the update service.
