Oxford Permanent £40,000 - £50,000 per year

The Commercial Finance Analyst will have a range of duties including:
Financial Analysis: Conducting thorough financial analysis of business performance, including analysing financial statements, creating financial models, and identifying key drivers of business performance- specifically to support the development of gross margin. Budgeting and Forecasting: Preparing and managing budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and analysing trends to provide recommendations to senior management. Commercial Strategy: Collaborating with business stakeholders to provide financial insights that support the development and execution of commercial strategies and initiatives. Performance Reporting: Developing and producing regular reports on business performance to provide insights on revenue, profitability, and other key performance indicators (KPIs). Risk Management: Identifying and analysing business risks and providing recommendations for risk mitigation and management. Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Providing support to the FP&A team, including forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis. Ad-hoc Analysis: Conducting ad-hoc financial analysis and modelling to support business decisions, as required.To excel in this role, the Commercial Finance Analyst should have a strong analytical and quantitative background, excellent communication skills, and be able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
They should ideally also have experience in financial modelling, financial analysis, and forecasting, as well as experience in business partnering and stakeholder management. It is preferred that the individual is working towards a Professional qualification (ACCA or CIMA) and looking to qualify in the near future. Advanced user of MS excel skills. Knowledge of data warehousing and data reporting/visualisation tools would be an advantage.The salary on offer for the successful individual ranges between £40,000 and £50,000 dependent upon experience and level of qualification.
