Job description
Programme Lead
Delivering, end to end on the assigned programme(s), ensuring that objectives are met and the expected benefits and business outcomes are realized. Leads the Programme's Executive and other Governance Committee's with energy and drive; empowered to direct the Programme and take decisions.
A growth mindset and willingness to champion change is a key requirement for this role.
Lead a cross functional matrix team. To ensure data and reporting is up to date and accurate for customer programmes and process steps are followed from instruction through to handover
Delivery
Accountable for the delivery of the assigned programme- providing strategic context, direction and leadership to the team. ensuring outcomes are achieved with end-to-end accountability for delivery of the changes.
Monitor programme delivery plan, resource deployment and overall co-ordination to deliver quality outcomes, on time, within budget, and following the agreed fulfilment process.
Ability to create and communicate the vision of the programme and drive the key outcomes and results.
Have a good understanding of project management tools and methodologies - agile and waterfall and able to put into practice.
Ability to step up to cover for Head of Delivery absence in partner meetings/ SLT and transformation.
Understands and drives Business's business strategy.
Define, prioritise and achieve strategic objectives of the programme- accountability for benefits realisation
Interrogate live dashboard data to drive action and decisions around risks and issues.
To produce suitable updates to provide confidence and clarity that targets are being met or clearly mitigated
Leads governance and exec meetings with energy and drive, empowered to direct the programme and take decisions.
Ability to prioritise work stack to optimise the benefits and commercial viability for the business.
Drive process improvements to increase delivery productivity without compromising quality.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
Champion a customer-centric approach to delivery, understanding and exceeding customer requirements and expectations.
Ability to handle conflict and drive issue resolution. Managing conflict in a constructive way.
Act as key interface for the programme, facing into the customer and partners.
Cultivate and strengthen relationships with partners, ensuring effective collaboration and communication and drive results.
Proactively working with the partners on transformation and improvements
Ensure coherent and optimised set of baseline delivery plans with an effective and strictly controlled change control process.
Working with key internal stakeholders to ensure full end to end process is optimal and efficient
Build & maintain effective working relationships with the Customers and the companies Commercial Demand, Delivery, Property & Finance teams to ensure the company policy is understood & applied consistently and improve certainty that objectives will be achieved by setting realistic expectations, delivering on commitments & effective communication.
Continuous Improvement
Ensure the team Identify areas for improvement & take ownership of specific issues through to resolution to drive improved performance and achieve targets. Escalate and progress resolution of issues as required.
Supplier Management
Manage 3rd party suppliers as valued partners, to deliver agreed targets on a defined group of sites by creating an environment that drives success & secures business targets through reporting and management of key deliverables
Risk, Issue & Dependency Management
Review with the team and proactively surface and record all risk, issues & dependencies, subsequently managing their mitigation and resolution or escalating those that cannot be solved
Landlord Equipment
With the AS and DM team ensure that at all times the companies, customers and third-party suppliers perform all duties with Landlords in line with the the companiesLandlord engagement policy.

Experience (technical, managerial, industry)
Education level / Qualifications (professional, vocational)
Prince 2/MSP/PMI/ SAFe Agile or similar
Skills / Knowledge
High EQ associated with influencing and stakeholder management skills at varying levels and across matrix organisations
Proven coaching and mentoring experience
Excellent presentation skills including the ability to write reports/analytical skills.
Clear & concise communication skills within the business and externally with 3rd party suppliers & stakeholders
Strong planning & organisational ability in delivering business results.
