Purovets has an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Nurse eager to contribute to a progressive team and make a meaningful impact.
Our client is looking for a full time Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly and supportive team at a busy, RCVS independent, family-owned veterinary practice that offers expert veterinary care 24 hours a day. The practice is situated in a charming town nestled in Worcestershire, that boasts a rich tapestry of history, picturesque landscapes, and a vibrant community spirit.
The practice provides comprehensive veterinary services and is well equipped with designated consultation rooms, operating theatre, In-house ultrasound machine, In-house laboratory, digital dental X-ray, Endoscopy, ECG, they are able to offer some complex procedures e.g. orthopaedics, gastrointestinal surgery, ocular examinations and surgeries
You will be working with an incredibly experienced and established team, comprising of 6 vets, some of whom hold certificates in Advanced Veterinary Practice and have interests in companion animal surgery and orthopaedics dermatology. A team of 8 RVNs who have interests in surgery and anaesthesia, inpatient care, and nurse clinics along with a friendly SVN and a team of support staff. The practice sees a diverse caseload meaning you can really utilise those invaluable nursing skills.
No two days are alike, our client is looking for someone who is efficient, can multitask, keep calm under pressure and show initiative. This role would suit both a newly qualified or experienced RVN, wanting to jump into a supportive and progressive practice position. Clinical coach experience would be desirable but not essential.

The Role:
•Ideally, this is a full-time position
•37 hours a week
•Participation in the on-call rota, flexible to suit your lifestyle.
•Ideally 1:7 weeknights and 1:6 weekends
