Job description
An established heating and ventilation company requires a HVAC engineer to cover the Midlands area.
Duties:
- Visiting clients and ensuring that the day-to-day planned preventative maintenance activities of building heating and ventilation equipment is completed in line with the company's contractual obligations.
- Ensuring all equipment is maintained in accordance with the O&M manuals and industry standard requirements.
- Assisting in supervising contractors and sub-contractors.
- Closing out reactive calls within contractual time scales.
- Be on-call as required.
- Van, phone, fuel card and tools will be provided by the company.
Requirements:
- Time served apprenticeship or equivalent NVQ qualification in HVAC.
- Minimum 5 years of providing service and maintenance on HVAC systems in a commercial environment.
- NVQ or City & Guilds in the following: Electrical engineer or equivalent
- 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
- City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection.
- Able to work at height.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Standard DBS check/clearance required.
Hours:
- 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
- Occasionally on-call out of hours.
This is a permanent position that starts immediately.
