Architectural Technician Job in Romsey, Hampshire

My client is a successful architectural practice, who currently has an Architectural Technician job available from its office in Romsey. This role would involve working across a number of developer led residential projects.

Founded over 40 years ago and currently employing over 60 staff, my client has found great commercial success in large-scale residential and retirement projects. They currently employ an award-winning team of architects, urban designers, technologists, graphic designers and sustainability consultants, and their awards include "Housing Design Award" and "Design Quality Award". This role would suit an experienced Senior Architectural Technician with residential experience.

Role & Responsibilities

• Production of working drawings and technical documents
• Working as part of a dedicated technical team
• Speaking directly with clients.

Required Skills & Experience

• A minimum of 2 years post qualification experience
• Experience in working on UK residential projects
• Developer experience would be highly beneficial
• Knowledge of UK building regulations
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD
• Experience in using Revit would be beneficial
• Full UK driving licence is essential
• Strong knowledge of the UK planning process.
