Job description

Our client, a highly established and market leading SME in Fareham, Hampshire, is seeking to recruit a progressive Financial Controller who has the potential to progress to Finance Director within a 2–3 year period.

• Work with the marketing/HR director and the Board, to build, report and help implement strategy for the firm and advise on strategy for the accounts team.
• Monthly management reporting, including cashflow, debtors and WIP, including the relevant variance analysis.
• Yearend management and completion, in partnership with the external Accountants.
• Preparation of and monitoring of Budgets, working closely with the senior leadership team.
• Ensure robust financial reporting, control and governance.
• Manage, develop and motivate a team of 4 in the team.

What will you need to apply for the role of Financial Controller?

• Full qualification ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Rounded hands–on financial control experience.
• An appetite to support Operations, as well as Finance.
• Proven track record of managing people.
