The employer is: TEAM UIQ LTD. As a Trainee Graphic Designer at Team UiQ, your primary role is to contribute to the creation of effective design solutions for client projects. You'll work closely with our dynamic team and senior management to bring creative concepts to life. It's essential that you adhere to and follow the company's brand guidelines to maintain brand consistency. In addition, you may be involved in art direction for photography and videography when necessary, ensuring that visual content aligns with our client's vision. Collaboration is key in this role, as you'll work in conjunction with our external agencies and partners to produce outstanding design work. This role as a Trainee Graphic Designer offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and refine your design skills in a creative and collaborative environment. You'll work on diverse projects under the guidance of our experienced design team. As a trainee, you'll have the chance to learn from industry experts, participate in real client projects, and contribute to the success of our design initiatives. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative and impactful design solutions.
• Assist in the creation of visual content, including digital and print materials, maintaining high-quality standards.
• Follow creative briefs and contribute to brainstorming sessions for project ideation.
• Work closely with senior management to refine designs and deliver projects that meet client expectations.
• Ensure that all design work adheres to the company's brand guidelines and maintains a consistent visual identity.
• Participate in art direction for photography and videography projects when required, ensuring they align with project goals.
• Collaborate with external agencies and partners to integrate their work seamlessly into projects and campaigns.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop etc).
• Basic knowledge of design principles, layout, typography, and colour theory.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey design ideas.
• Creativity and the ability to think outside the box to solve design challenges.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and take direction from senior team members.
• Ability to meet project deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Desire and ambition to develop your skills and experience.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with motion graphics and video editing software (e.g. After Effects etc).
• Understanding of web design principles and experience in creating web graphics.
• Knowledge of 3D modelling or animation.
• Familiarity with user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design concepts.
• Strong photography skills.
• Knowledge of emerging design trends and technologies.

Further Information

The employer is: TEAM UIQ LTD. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer. Wage: 16/17 £5.28, 18/20yrs £7.49, 21/22yrs £10.18, 23/24yrs £10.42 per hour
