Fix or Flex – find the right work life balance for you Are you a Veterinary Surgeon looking for a consult-only role? This position can be worked over 2-5 days per week, we are happy to discuss the exact number of hours, shift lengths and days worked, to allow for a great work/life balance.
We are open to a variety of working hours Monday-Friday, with a commitment to 1:3 Saturdays. We would envisage that this role would continue to offer consultations over the lunch period, we would consider no inpatient duty shifts possible with this role but being part of the Saturday rota would be negotiable. This role could be part of a job share or more than one person covering these hours.

We have 3 practices within our group, Showground Road and Robins Drive in Bridgwater and Berrow Road in Burnham on sea. The main Blake Practice is well-equipped with a highly skilled team, based just outside North Petherton.
We are a friendly, supportive team who constantly strive for clinical excellence. The team takes great pride in the relationships they have built with their patients, clients, and the local community.
The Blake name has been a big part of Bridgwater’s Veterinary world for over 20 years, with clients from Bridgwater, North Petherton as well as Cannington to Nether Stowey. The Small animal practice has built over the years and with its fantastic loyal clients, it can be a fast-paced place to work. As this role would solely be consultation based, we would be looking for the right person to join the team and deliver the same great experience over the lunch period to offer continuous service throughout the whole day.
