SCI was born out of passion for video games and boxing, with the ambition to create an authentic and exciting boxing game that does justice to the sport we love. What started as a fun prototype has grown into ‘Undisputed’, the first major boxing video game in over a decade.

The Role
We are on the search for a Social Media Manager to join our internal marketing team. Play an important role in making Undisputed, the first new major boxing video game in over a decade, a global hit. The game is currently in Early Access on Steam and will be coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X. We’re a small team with giant ambitions and already making waves across the videogames and boxing industry.
If you’re a Social Media Manager with a flair for the creative and a good mind for data driven growth, we’d love to hear from you. Direct experience with community management is a plus but not essential.
The Social Media Manager will work directly with our Senior Community Manager and Senior Brand Manager to plan and execute our social media and content strategy across a wide range of channels including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and more.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow our online presence across our social media channels and sites, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Discord.
- Write copy that will appear in marketing materials, blogs, websites, social channels, etc.
- Collaborate with our internal marketing team and our publisher on content design, planning, and scheduling.
- Support game content release and updates by organizing patch notes and updating our website.
- Identify and build relationships key content creators within the community.
- Regularly report on our social media analytics against KPIs and recommend areas of improvement.
- Help monitor and analyse community sentiment and share insights with the development team to help steer our Early Access updates.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- 2+ years experience managing a game’s social media channels.
- Good copywriting ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A deep understanding of social media platforms including TikTok and Instagram, their audiences, and best practices.
- Experience inputting on content design and planning, as well as wider social and content strategies.
- A solid understanding of analytics and the ability to use data to help inform decision making and strategy.
- Ability to adapt tone to fit brand identity.
- A collaborative approach and mentality
- Can work independently with some direction
- Detail oriented
- Bonus: You are a boxing fan
- Bonus: Familiarity with boxing and/or boxing video games.
- Bonus: You are comfortable with being on camera for interviews, live streams, etc.
- Bonus: Some familiarity with content creation tools like Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
