As part of the Expleo Digital and Emerging Technology (DET) team, you will report to the UK Defence, Government & Marine Capability Lead.
Within the Cyber Security Team, you will be part of a dynamic and passionate team . You will work on a complex and captivating project integrating the latest technological solutions and trends.
Supporting new and existing clients with your ability to forge strong relationships, working solely or as part of a team, you will provide assistance to account managers for developing, understanding and scoping for new business.
As an ever-growing consultant, you will perform research and develop new testing tools to aid clients. You will also work in close partnership with clients to ensure the delivery of expert services and provide best-in-class support.
- Reporting to the UK Defence, Government & Marine Capability Lead as part of the Expleo Digital and Emerging Technology (DET) team.
- Joining a dynamic Cyber Security Team, working on complex and captivating projects that integrate the latest technological solutions and trends.
- Supporting both new and existing clients, forging strong relationships, working individually or as part of a team to assist account managers in developing, understanding, and scoping new business.
- Conducting research and developing new testing tools to aid clients, ensuring the delivery of expert services and best-in-class support.
- Installing and configuring RHEL9 on server and workstation hardware, including security hardening of installations.
- Contributing to the generation of SSP/RMADS, and supporting CE/CE+ accreditation renewal.
- Managing Anti-Malware tools, server installation of FlexLM for LDRA toolset licence management, and Splunk installation.
- Setting up backups, RHEL update processes, and standalone build workstations for software deliveries.
- Assisting in the configuration of administrator and software developer/user accounts, possibly using LDAP.
- Producing comprehensive documentation for new networks and managing local network configurations, including integration with external services.
- A degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Alternatively, professional certifications in cyber security such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+.
- Completion of recognised cyber security courses and programs, such as those offered by SANS Institute, (ISC)², EC-Council, or Cyber Security Challenge UK.
- A combination of relevant experience and education in the field of cyber security may also be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
- Strong knowledge of RHEL9 installation and configuration, including security practices.
- Experience in supporting and contributing to SSP/RMADS and accreditation processes.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing security tools and processes, including Anti-Malware tools and Splunk.
- Familiarity with network and server administration, including LDAP, FlexLM, and backup setups.
- Capable of producing detailed technical documentation and managing local network configurations.
- Experience with software development environments, particularly Eclipse for C++.
- Knowledge of Cyber Security hardware such as CyberPower UPS and Netgear management tools.
- Familiarity with software delivery processes and build environment management, including the use of Clonezilla.
- Understanding of centralised logging and vulnerability scanning systems, and the ability to integrate and manage these systems within a network.
- Proven track record of working within Cyber Security in a dynamic team environment, preferably in the Defence, Government, or Marine sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships, work collaboratively within a team, and independently on projects.
- Experience in network and security infrastructure setup, management, and documentation.
- Previous involvement in accreditation review processes, PEN Testing, and the implementation of security recommendations.
