Job description
Our client is a Contractor who works with Anglian Water and collaborates with a number of alliance partners to provide the best water and water recycling services across the region by maintaining the existing assets and undertaking new projects to safeguard future water supplies.
They are currently looking for a number of Project Engineers to join them and work together with a number of other big names within Integrated Operational Solutions (IOS) Alliance. The IOS Alliance works together to concentrate on solutions across the water recycling and clean water asset base, typically totalling £50-60m per year.
As a Project Engineer, you will be playing a key part in our client's drive to bring environmental and social prosperity to the region.
Working as part of the Project Delivery Team reporting to the Project Delivery Manager. The role will involve enabling projects to be delivered to time, cost, specification, client needs and the needs and regulations of other stakeholders.
You will need:
- Essential - experience in the electrical engineering field
- Receipt of needs from Anglian Water (planned or reactive)
- Development of optimum Totex solutions
- Ensuring solutions are compliant with all required standards and regulations
- Provide regular updates on progress (time, cost and quality) to the Project Delivery Manager and other key internal and external stakeholders
- Capture outputs in the relevant corporate systems
- Support the capture of asset changes (decommissioning, alteration, creation) in the relevant corporate systems
- Raise Early Warning Notices and Change Requests promptly when required if projects incur delays in time or increases in cost or change of scope to Project Delivery Manager
Requirements
- Good communicator able to communicate detailed data to a non-data literate audit
- Ideally have Technical and Operational Water Recycling experience
- Capital budget management skills not Revenue
- Knowledge and experience of customer management and external stakeholder management
- Knowledge and experience of planning and resource scheduling
- Previous experience in one or more of: Electrical Engineering; Instrumentation & Commissioning Engineering and Process Engineering
