Advanced Practitioner Social Worker - Impact Chronologies

Location: Penrith, Westmorland and Furness Council

Pay Rate: £52 per hour

Westmorland and Furness Council is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Advanced Practitioner Social Worker to join our dynamic team based in Penrith. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Impact Chronologies:

    • Lead the development and implementation of impact chronologies within social work practice.
    • Provide guidance and training to social work teams on the effective use of impact chronologies.
  2. Supervision and Mentoring:

    • Provide supervision and mentoring to social workers within the council.
    • Support the continuous professional development of team members.
  3. Quality Assurance:

    • Conduct regular audits and reviews of impact chronologies to ensure compliance with best practices.
    • Work collaboratively with teams to address areas of improvement and maintain high standards.
  4. Case Management:

    • Manage a caseload of complex cases, ensuring high-quality assessments and interventions.
    • Collaborate with colleagues and external agencies to provide holistic support to service users.
  5. Training and Development:

    • Contribute to the design and delivery of training programs to enhance the skills of social work practitioners.
    • Stay abreast of developments in social work practice and share knowledge within the team.
