This is where creativity meets strategy. As a member of the ITT ( Focus on IV Fluid Management ) Baxter WEU Marketing team, you will work on designing, developing and implementing marketing programs and pricing strategies.
You’ll use your expertise to present our life-sustaining and live-saving products and services to the relevant market sector. Working in collaboration with the sales and technical teams, there will be opportunity for learning, development and future career growth across a variety of fields within Baxter.
We are looking for an experienced and versatile Senior Marketing Manager who will be responsible for driving Strategic Marketing initiatives and the related Execution for the WE (Western Europe) region, as well as ensure the implementation of a new Omnichannel approach.
The role will operate solidly within the WE ITT vertical Segment alongside other regional partners such as Medical/Clinical, Finance, Training & Education, Comm Ex, Supply Chain, R&D, RA, Market Access, Digital Marketing, GPR, etc as well as the ITT Global team to ensure that Baxter’s European Team has a clear direction plus effective traditional and digital tools/programs with which they can approach healthcare professionals/payers in this new virtual setting. Regional Marketing partners with Countries to enable Commercial Execution excellence to accelerate profitable sales.
Travel expected up to 30% of the time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (see Full JD for detail)
Act as primary regional Marketing point of contact for Country teams, Global Portfolio & Marketing Team, Global Strategy Team, etc.
Own launch execution readiness, effectiveness and compliance, identify root causes behind gaps in new launch performance and drive enhancements to plans
Analyse regional business performance and recommend enhancements or corrective actions to plans and capabilities
Articulate regional needs, Voice of Customer (internal/external) and market intelligence to Global Team and/or to relevant regional/country partners
Gather regional inputs for Target Product Profiles (TPP) and coordinate financial business case process
Supports quality Growth of key revenue generators in the region with an Omnichannel approach and driving product penetration, routine-use as well as new product introduction with digital formats leveraging its strong differentiation. Helps ensure best of class launch execution.
Conceptualize and complete Omnichannel campaigns across the prospect and customer\Personas lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across the ecosystem
Identify Business Model optimization programs (Equipment\asset Management, CAPEX Management, Partnership), build Business Case and provide recommendations, support the decision making process and deliver the approved ones
Actively contribute to Business Planning activities for the region including AOP, LRP, Logistics, Optimization programs, etc.
Build high quality regional annual Commercial plan (eg. MAP and any other relevant).
Guide and provide input to the Teams when developing their Country annual Commercial plan (eg. MAP) as well as other Business Planning programs (AOP\LRP, S&OP, Optimization, etc.).
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Extensive Marketing/Commercial experience in the Medical Device/Pharma industry required;
Familiarity with IV Fluid management, as well as proven experience in leading Marketing programs on a regional scale are clear advantages
University degree or equivalent experience:A Master’s/ PhD degree, MBA is not essential but considered a bonus
Demonstrated record of success in driving new product sales.
Background in strategic planning and business development advantageous.
Training and experience in Digital Marketing with performance history are a clear advantage.
Analytical skills with intuition for business: Strong Strategic thinking coupled with Strong Execution skills
Top communicator, influencing, negotiation and collaboration skills as well as critical thinking & project management skills cross-culturally
Consistent track record of operating successfully in a matrix, cross functionally and in geographically disperse team environment.
Ability to embrace and adapt to change, to handle and succeed in ambiguity. Knowledge in the following fields: Market Research, Segmentation, Targeting and Messaging, Digital & Interactive Marketing, Brand Management, Pricing and Value Messaging, Decision Analytics, Implementing Strategic Plans
