Senior Estimator – Inside IR35
Contract Term: Until December 2025
Contracting Authority: AWE
Location: Aldermaston, Reading - Hybrid
What if you could work on something that you can’t test… but cannot afford to fail? Something that could have spent years on a submarine, is launched into outer space (where the temperature is below -250c), comes hurtling through the atmosphere, being heated up and shaken and then must work? As a Senior Estimator your main responsibilities will be:
Key Accountabilities:
Implement best practice estimating policy, processes and procedures on projects.
Providing cost estimates and cost plans within levels of certainty, provisioning effective monitoring, forecasting and control of financial limits
Assist value engineering assessments and evaluation as part of the project process.
Providing estimating input to performance reporting, risk and change assessments.Key Responsibilities:
