The Website Executive is responsible for supporting with the day-to-day management and maintenance of our websites.
You will be familiar with updating a website via CMS and creating basic digital assets, or briefing requirements to our UX and design teams.
Acting as a website champion, you will enable the effective delivery of website priorities, working closely with the website team and other colleagues to complete briefs and provide recommendations in line with organisational strategy, departmental goals, internal policies, legislation, and regulation.
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks to ensure these are delivered in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities:
• Planning: Prioritises own workload to ensure timely and accurate delivery of website briefs.
• Content: Support the management and review of the website to ensure content and assets remain accurate, optimised and relevant to the audience across all devices and screen sizes. This may also include infrequently QA testing ahead of new releases.
• Maintenance: Regularly check for broken links, errors and issues across the website and resolve promptly. Ensure assets remain up-to-date and liaise with internal colleagues to refresh content.
• SEO: Monitor and implement basic SEO best practice, utilising tools and data to evaluate and monitor site performance
• Marketing: Works closely with the marketing team to support campaign activity and initiatives to include landing page creation, projects and test and learn improvements.
Qualifications:
• Relevant professional qualifications/training e.g. CIM
• Experience updating a website via Content management system (CMS)
• Capable working independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of SEO best practice
• Demonstrate good organisation and prioritisation skills
