Robert Half are working with a well-established client seeking an experienced Interim Accountant to join a large and reputable company based in Tewkesbury. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in multicompany balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting during a 3-4 month interim period.
Job Title: Interim Accountant (3-4 months) - £250-£300 per day (Umbrella)
Location: Tewkesbury (2-3 days in the office)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct multicompany balance sheet reconciliations using SAP
- Demonstrate proficiency in SAP and Excel to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Utilise strong analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate and resolve discrepancies..
- Ability to work on own initiative and hit the ground running in a dynamic environment.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a large company environment, with a preference for candidates with SAP exposure.
- Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting purposes.
- Proven experience with multicompany balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to commute to Tewkesbury as required.
