Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Worcestershire

Type : Small animal

Location : Pershore, Worcestershire

Practice Type : Part of a group

Facilities: They are a Tier 2 RCVS-accredited surgery on the edge of the Cotswolds operating across three surgeries in Pershore, Evesham, and Bredon. They have a variety of advanced diagnostic facilities including, digital radiography, ultrasonography, and endoscopy, and also offer a wide range of orthopaedic and advanced surgeries.

Team: The friendly team consists of 11 Veterinary Surgeons who are supported by an excellent team of Registered Veterinary Nurses, Trainee Nurses, and dedicated Reception Staff. The talented Vet team includes an RCVS recognised advanced practitioner in general small animal surgery in addition to surgery and medicine certificate holders.

Role: The practice is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the team. You would carry out a range of duties, primarily consulting and operating. 

Applicant Requirement:  This role is eligible for an experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon.

Hours: The full-time rota would be as follows: 4 days a week with a shift pattern between 8:30 am and 6:30 pm.

OOHS : They switch the phones over to Vets Now so remote phone cover is required by the duty vet for just 1 hour, with a Registered Veterinary Nurse on site until 7 pm.

Weekends : The Weekends are 1:4 Saturdays, carrying out consults between 9 am – 1 pm when Vets Now take over. 

Salary : Salary up to £75,000 dependent on experience + £5,000 relocation allowance + Private Apartment + Additional Benefits
