We are recruiting for a Permanent Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a practice in Loughborough, Leicestershire. This is a full time role offering a 4 day working week with a 1:8 weekend rota along with one night on call per week.

- Team: 11 vets 20 Nurses
- Computer System: TBC
The role:
- The role is full time, 4 day week and will involve a 1:8 weekend / on call rota and a 1 night per week on call.
- The role is 1 st opinion small animal hospital with a mixture of consultations and surgeries. They are able to offer a varied caseload that will support clinical development. They deal with small animal and exotic cases.
- The role can support an experienced Vet or a newly graduated Vet due to the level of experience available.
- The Vet will be responsible for communicating with clients with regards to updates on their pets health.
- The role offers ongoing development benefits with support and funding available for certificates.
- The Vet will be responsible for providing a high level of Veterinary Care to patients.

About You:
- You will be a qualified veterinary surgeon with a desire to work with a forward-thinking veterinary practice. You must have a real passion for the industry and strive to provide the highest standards of care. Excellent customer service skills are also essential.
- The practice can accept applications from various levels of experience.
- The Vet will be a team player with excellent communications skills and be able to establish good working relationships with both clients and the fellow colleagues.
Package:
- Salary: From £40,000 onwards per annum, commensurate to experience
- Holidays: 6 weeks annual leave pro rata plus bank holidays
- CPD: £1750 allowance with 5 days paid pro rata
- Memberships: VDS and RCVS fees paid plus two other memberships
