Lead Administrator UK Defence Academy Shrivenham, SN6 8LA £23,030.00 per annum plus benefits
Serco have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Administrator to join our team based at the Defence Academy in Shrivenham, Swindon. You will be working to provide a range of administrative duties for our HR department.
Serco at the Defence Academy provides Facilities Management across all aspects of the site including Estates, Logistics, various Supporting Services, together with Cleaning, Catering and Waste Management through ESS.
Duties for the role:
- Providing a wide range of administrative support to military personnel
- Adhering to MOD policies and regulations in order to provide accurate advice and support
- Responsible for assisting in monthly payroll accuracy checks, responding to pay related queries from military personnel and advise and assist with expense queries
- Managing data entry between a variety of different systems
What you need to do the job:
- GCSE’s (A-C) or equivalent in English and Maths
- Able to use a variety of communication methods (oral, written and face to face)
- Essential you can work as part of a large professional team or individually
- Be able to manage departmental workload
- Must be methodical, have proven organisational skills and able to work to tight deadlines
- Problem solving skills are a must in this role
- Excellent customer service skills
