Vocational Recruitment is currently hiring a dedicated and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support the educational and developmental needs of students. You will provide assistance in the classroom, lead small group activities, and help create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons based on curriculum guidelines.
- Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help.
- Lead small group activities to reinforce learning and encourage student engagement.
- Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support students with their social and emotional development.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as grading and preparing classroom materials.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to create a supportive learning community.
Requirements
- Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
- A relevant qualification in Education or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of different students.
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of educational best practices and learning strategies.
