Senior Software Engineer – AutomationWhat will you bring?

As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in automation, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our automation initiatives with the purpose of driving our growth agenda. Your expertise in technologies such as Microsoft Azure services, coupled with a deep understanding of automation principles and future technologies such as AI, will drive our company's success in streamlining operations and enhancing productivity.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
• Lead the development and implementation of scalable, automation solutions. Knowledge of Azure and advanced AI principles is advantageous.
• Lead the conceptualisation, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of new and existing features for the existing portfolio of applications for a business area.
• Ensures application solution design conforms to agreed upon quality attributes such as performance, fault tolerance, etc.
• Design, code, test, maintain and document software deliverables using agreed upon standards and tools; adopt and drive our Engineering Excellence standards particularly around CI/CD.
• Mentor and train team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement.
• Strong experience in software development and delivery track record in a range or roles in a scrum environment. Knowledge of Java, C# and/or Python preferred.
• Bachelor of Computer Science is preferred, or relevant industry qualifications. Relevant business experience is advantageous.
