Temporary Mechanical Engineer
Location: Willenhall, UK
Workchain, a leading UK-based recruitment agency, is currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to contribute to the growth and success of a reputable organization. Hours of work at Modnay to Friday rotating weekly from 06:00-13:300 one week and 13:30-21:00 the following week.
Responsibilities:
• Conducting mechanical engineering tasks, including research, design, development, and testing of mechanical systems, components, and equipment.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, scope, and requirements.
• Assisting in the selection and installation of mechanical parts, machinery, and equipment.
• Designing prototypes and developing innovative solutions to improve product quality and efficiency.
• Creating detailed design drawings and specifications using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Conducting performance and quality tests, analyzing data, and providing recommendations for improvements.
• Troubleshooting mechanical issues and providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Participating in project meetings, providing technical expertise, and contributing to project planning and execution.
• Keeping up to date with industry advancements, new technologies, and mechanical engineering trends.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer in the Technical industry.
• Proficient in using CAD software and other design tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
• Good understanding of quality control processes and procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
