Altrincham (hybrid working option)
c£40k - £45k + package

We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Design Engineer to join a team of Engineers and Designers in a vibrant and busy multi disciplinary practice based in Altrincham. Our client has a great reputation and is involved in some interesting and varied civil infrastructure and civil design projects.

As Civil Design Engineer you will work on varied Infrastructure projects in Drainage and/or highways design.

salary c35k-45k depending on experience
25 days holiday

About You and the role

• Production of designs for infrastructure and associated planning schemes to appropriate standards from initial concepts to detailed design.
• Assistance in preparation of contract documents and specifications.
• Undertaking inspections and surveys, preparation of reports and site supervision of projects.
• Experience in preparing detailed design for infrastructure projects through the Section 278/38 agreement process.
• Ideally knowledge of Section 104/106 water industry agreements.
• Ideally knowledge of DCG and relevant drainage standards and guidance.
• Awareness of DMRB, Manual for Streets and general Highway standards.
• Proficient in the use of MicroDrainage And/or Civil 3D or similar software
• You will ideally be on a chartered plan or looking to gain chartership
