Job description
1. Utilise relevant Trust IT systems, as determined by the role, ensure all relevant patient data is collected and input accurately in line with Trust guidelines. These systems may include IpM, CRRS and CPIS 2. Collate, input and monitor department documentation and information to assist with the production of monthly reports for the department. 3. Responsible for the dissemination of all relevant information to departments, external and internal users (e.g. dissemination of minutes, memos). 4. Assist with training new team members in Trust operational systems and department procedures. 5. Responsible for ordering stationery and other equipment whilst monitoring and maintaining stock levels. 6. Responsible for the receipt and distribution of incoming/outgoing post and action accordingly. 7. Prioritise daily tasks to achieve timescales set. 8. Act as first point of contact for complaints within the department, dealing with them accordingly and in line with Trust policy and departmental standards. 9. Provide appropriate cover in the absence of other members of the team. 10. Continually contribute to patient and business improvement Agendas. Share ideas for potential service improvement 11. Ensuring relevant information is captured for overseas/private patients. 12. Responsible for the NHS 111 referral inbox. Ensuring that the inbox is monitored regularly throughout the day. 13. Creating external referrals for NHS 111 referrals. 14. To be responsible for ensuring all clinic outcomes are recorded onto PAS in a timely and efficient manner in accordance to the Trust policy. 15. To ensure that any requested changes to clinics are administered in a timely and efficient manner. 16. Adjusting patients appointments forward when additional capacity has been arranged.
