Working Hours: Shift patterns: 8am – 4pm and 4pm – 12am. Monday to Sunday


Purpose:

We are seeking a Concierge Officer to join our team at Williamson Heights, a mixed tenure scheme in Brent. This role is customer-centric, focusing on providing a welcoming environment for all visitors and residents. Previous experience in residential developments or front-of-house roles is advantageous. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Meet and greet residents and visitors, answering enquiries promptly and courteously. 

- Assist with resident, guest, and visitor needs efficiently while maintaining reception coverage. 

- Maintain high levels of customer care and service, handling complaints with professionalism and courtesy. 

- Ensure security of residents and the building, including monitoring CCTV and patrolling the development. 

- Manage access control, handle payments, and screen visitors and contractors. 

- Report security and Health & Safety issues promptly and accurately. 

- Receive and manage deliveries, including parcels and registered mail. 

- Issue keys responsibly and maintain accurate records. 

- Oversee fire and emergency procedures, taking appropriate action as needed. 

- Proactively address maintenance and cleaning issues within the development. 

- Assist with other duties as required and provide clear handovers at shift ends. 

- Attend team meetings, training sessions, and community events as necessary. 

Person Specification:

Desirable:

- Previous experience in residential concierge service or similar front-of-house roles. 

- Demonstrate excellence in customer service. 

- Understanding of basic building maintenance and safety practices. 

- Familiarity with Equal Opportunities Policy and commitment to its principles.  

Skills and Abilities:

Required:

- Ability to build strong relationships with residents, contractors, and staff. 

- Effective prioritisation and flexibility in workload management. 

- Excellent communication skills. 

- Physical fitness and mobility for occasional heavy lifting. 

- Proficiency in basic paperwork and ability to work with little supervision. 

- Confidence and diplomacy in handling challenging situations. 

- Willingness to work outside normal hours occasionally. 

- Commitment to high-quality customer service and initiative in issue resolution.
