Job description

Wincanton are looking for a Regional Driver Training and Development Specialist to join the Driver Training Team.

The role is home based with regular regional travel to our sites (mainly Hemel Hempstead, Milton Keynes and Dunstable). A company car is provided. Ideal candidates would live within a commutable distance of Hemel Hempstead.

The department is responsible for delivering and managing all driver training, including on-boarding of new drivers, DCPC and specialist vehicle training. The role will be working with all contracts across the region to ensure their training requirements are delivered and their drivers are safe and compliant. The individual will be required to manage and deliver the training needs of the contracts within the region in relation to driver assessments, formal company inductions, DCPC course delivery and targeted training based on a driver’s performance using telemetry data.

This is a Monday to Friday role, with occasional weekends.
