Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons to students in Primary and Secondary education levels
• Foster creativity, encourage self-expression, and develop students' confidence through drama techniques
• Collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement a well-rounded performing arts curriculum
• Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support
• Organize and direct school performances, showcasing students' talents and achievements
• Create a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting equality and diversity
• Liaise with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on students' progress

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Drama or a related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience teaching Drama in a school setting
• Strong knowledge of drama pedagogy and contemporary performance practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for drama education and the empowerment it can bring to students
• Ability to effectively manage a classroom and differentiate instruction to meet students' individual needs
• Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
