Business Account Manager
Location: Crewe, Cheshire
Type: Permanent/ Full Time
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday 08:50 am – 17:20 pm
Salary: £12.02 per hour/ £25k per annum, plus uncapped commission plus Excellent benefits included.
Summary of Role:
Are you a seasoned salesperson with proven ability to hunt out new business?
Part of a highly successful Europe-wide group with a turnover in excess of £400m, H2eCommerce, based in Cheshire, operates the market-leading online retailers Cartridge People and Cartridge Shop. The company has recently diversified into the supply of 3D products such as 3D printers, filaments, and parts to the UK market, which is based on the Group’s already strong 3D eCommerce presence in the Netherlands. Each of our shops, regardless of the country, offers competitive pricing, best-in-class delivery times, great service, and expert advice.
As a Cold Acquisition Business Account Manager, you will have direct telephone contact with provided prospects. These prospects know who we are as they have been on our website which makes the lead a little bit warmer but nonetheless, this is a cold-calling campaign.
You would be expected to call these prospects and onboard them as a Cartridge People business account. Once onboarded, these accounts would form part of your portfolio where you would be expected to increase profit margins by upselling and getting the customer to purchase own brand products where the margin is greater. You will be expected to maintain a friendly business relationship with these customers and manage your pipeline to ensure retention and growth of your portfolio.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure 10 new business Accounts are onboarded through Cold Calling per month.
• Ensure Margin Targets are above 30%.
• Profit Margin must hit £8k min a month after probationary glide path.
• Meet and exceed individual targets.
• Advise on customer queries and recommend suitable products.
• Build relationships with customers.
• Accurately maintain database.
Skills Required:
• Experience of Two or more years in a Cold Acquisition Account Manager Role.
• Evidence the ability to manage pipelines and a portfolio through upselling.
• Natural positive communicator, a real people person!
• Problem solver, helpful nature.
• Able to multitask.
• Confident and enthusiastic with a friendly disposition.
• Team player.
• Positive ‘can do’ attitude.
• Attention to detail, high levels of accuracy.
• Competent with Excel.
• IT literate.
• The ability to actively listen, influence and negotiate with customers.
