Title: Head of Quality

Position Overview: We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with an established training provider in Sheffield.
The role requires an individual who can take the strategic lead on the development, implementation and monitoring of curriculum, quality improvement, and quality assurance processes and procedures for all of the organisations contract delivery.
All candidates must have access to their own vehicle with business insurance. Travel will be expected. Travel expenses paid fortnightly.
Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and report upon the quality of teaching, learning and assessment, making recommendations for continuous development to ensure high quality delivery.
- Develop and implement a robust quality assurance framework, ensuring that all aspects of delivery meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Responsible for the development and management of the organisations internal quality strategy.
- Oversee the design and development of the adult education budget curricula, ensuring relevance and alignment of industry best practices.
- Ensuring that the curriculum meets the "3 I s" Intent, Implementation, and Impact in line with the current Education Inspection Framework.
- Identify improvements and ensure best practice, reporting outcomes to SMT and Teams.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor program quality and compliance internally and externally
- Lead efforts to continuously improve the teaching and learning experience, identifying innovative approaches and best practices
- Effectively use data and learner feedback to analyse performance, monitor progress towards targets and objectives, monitor the quality of provision and inform the self-assessment process.
- Providing support, professional advice and guidance for managers relevant to the key focus of the role to support the delivery of ongoing quality improvements and ensure that funding and performance expectations are met.
- Lead the organisations approach to self assessment and improvement planning, including overseeing the production of the self-assessment report and associated quality improvement plans.
- Ensuring the organisation is always prepared for inspection, taking a lead role during quality related inspections or audits.
- To oversee partnerships with awarding bodies and external verifiers, ensuring compliance and best practice is in line with awarding and regulatory bodies.
- To provide direct line management to our Quality Managers in order to drive tutor performance.
- To maintain up to date knowledge of funding guidance, national and local developments in education, prevent and safeguarding, and other relevant policies to ensure high quality delivery and standards.
- To ensure the organisations financial profiles are achieved through the effective performance management of staff and resources
About you:
- Experience of Ofsted Inspection(s) with minimum grade 2 achieved
- Proven experience in a management position including line management of staff
- Excellent Knowledge of ESFA funding compliance, as well as other funding streams that support the skills sector.
- Track record in designing and executing successful training programs
- Ability to produce and manage action plans to raise quality standards
- Occupationally competent in accordance with Awarding Body guidelines
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops etc)
- Recognised Teaching Qualification e.g. PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS
- 1 years teaching experience required
- 1 year tutoring experience (Desirable)
