Job description

• Sliding Head Setter / Operator.
Essential skills required of the Setter Operator:

• Must have hands on working experience as a Sliding Head Setter Operator.
• We require least 3 years of demonstrable experience in a similar
manufacturing environment.
• Extensive experience in a machining environment with knowledge of modern
technology and up to date manufacturing techniques.
• Ability to use appropriate measurement, analysis, and evaluation methods to accurately identify and document process improvements.
• Ability to manufacture precision components by fully understanding engineering drawings in terms of tolerances, surface finish, etc.
• Ability to inspect own work using a variety of measurement equipment and to maintain all required quality documentation. FAIR's , sample inspection etc.
• Methodical and focused approach to work.
• Focused on quality with high attention to detail.
• Flexible and able to work well under pressure.
• Experience in programming using Fanuc controls.

Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 17:00 , Friday 07:30 - 11:30 plus overtime available.
