Job description
Robert Half are pleased to be working with this long established well known local landmark business in the recruitment of a Company Bookkeeper. This is initially a temporary position and is ideally a full time role but a candidate with slightly reduced hours could be considered.
Main Responsibilities include
- Preparation of accounts up to and including month end trial balance using Sage.
- Maintaining the purchase ledger and coding / inputting invoices.
- Bank reconciliations, month end reporting on debits and credits.
- Processing the monthly payroll for all full-time and part-time employees.
- PAYE returns and payments.
- Responsibility for credit control, ensuring suppliers are paid in accordance with agreed terms.
- Processing of month end Management Accounts, prepayment and accrual journals.
You must have the above skill set along with experience of Sage to be considered for the role. This role is set in an unrivalled idyllic location and there is plenty of on site parking
