Job description

GI Group are currently recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join our well established client in Portbury.

Hours: 8am-4.30pm
Pay rate: £10.99 per hour
O/T available - £16.49 over 7.5 hours per day and Saturdays
Location: Portbury, Bristol
Reporting to: Warehouse Manager

Our client is looking for new talent to join the company. You will be part of a very friendly and welcoming team and if successful will be offered a permanent position. There are some great opportunities to progress and relocate (if desired)

Your duties as a Warehouse Operative will include:
- Prepping gas cylinders
- Ensuring cylinders have correct labels and product codes
- Checking cylinders for defects/damage
- Moving gas cylinders around warehouse (Pallet truck and manual handling training provided)
- Scanning cylinders to be returned to customers using in-house system

The ideal Warehouse Operative will:
- Be punctual
- Be looking for a long term position
- Have warehouse experience

Must be able to speak basic English
