Job description
A SEN school in Ealing is looking for a Mental Health support worker. You will be supporting children with hearing impairments and additional needs such as ASD, motor difficulties, visual impairments, emotional and behaviour challenges. You will be part of an experienced team who will support your professional development as well as be part of vibrant and innovative learning communities
Position details:
· Mental health support worker to start ASAP
· For at least one academic year (potentially longer or permanent for right candidate)
· Full-time (Monday-Friday)
· Hours are 8:30am-4:00pm
The successful Special Needs Teaching Assistant will have:
· At least 3 months’ experience supporting special and additional needs
· Patience, empathy and resilience
· Ideally a background or keen interest in psychology, mental health and therapy
