The Medical HR Manager will be responsible for the management of all human resources administration associated with the medical and dental workforce, including terms and conditions, recruitment and selection, and the provision of specialist advice and guidance on HR-related issues. The post holder will be responsible for the operational management of the Medical HR team and will oversee the delivery of a high quality, customer focus, operational service to Clinical Leads, the operational management teams and the medical and dental workforce..
Responsibilities
- Provide initial responses to information requests, including Freedom of Information requests as well as media enquiries and Department of Health information returns.
- Support the Senior HR Manager in the management of a departmental Risk Register and relevant Controls Assurance standards.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Experience of working successfully and in partnership with trade union side.
- One years experience of managing staff, with the proven ability to lead a team effectively, to improve service delivery.
- Demonstrate experience of working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
Desirable Skills
- An understanding of the key issues and challenges facing the NI Health and Social care sector.
